I might be moving homes in the near future. Found a new place we really like and within budget. The big issue with the new place is that it is smaller. But all the other features make up for the size difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So… I have a lot of stuff. And it clearly won’t fit in the new place. My stuff needs to go. Already let go of a bunch of old books. Sold a bunch of DVDs and BluRays. Sold an indoor bike rack, and patio furniture. The one thing that is giving me grief is an indoor Air Conditioning unit. We bought one when we lost AC while in Alabama. We brought it back but haven’t used it here and our new place will include AC. Posted on Facebook Marketplace at a pretty good price as far as I am concerned. A ton of interest in it but no one wants to actually buy it. It is really strange and bordering on annoying now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Person on facebook: “Is this still available?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Me: “Yes, come pick it up.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few days later, Me: “Are you still interested?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nothing. Why ask if you aren’t at all serious about it. I get that with the DVDs and BluRays as well to a certain degree but usually they move faster because someone really wants it. This is a bigger ticket item so I can see that being an issue for some but damn. So many start the conversation and then disappear. Feels almost like some sort of scam but I just don’t understand the angle on how it might benefit them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
